My Hair Care Routine For Locking Moisture In With Head & Shoulders!
As I continue my natural hair journey and believe me a journey it is. I’m getting to know more about how my hair interacts with certain products, weather and even different things I eat. One of the biggest issues I still deal with is dry scalp. I mean flaky scalp is NOT sexy, right? LOL. Anyway, when I heard about the opportunity to try out Head & Shoulders: Moisture Care products I jumped on it! Check out My Hair Care Routine For Locking Moisture In.
I received a full package from Head & Shoulders Moisture Care goodies which included their shampoo, co-wash, shampoo + conditioner, and the scalp soother.
Step 1. I comb all the tangles out of my hair so it won’t be a mess when it’s wet.
Step 2. I used the Head & Shoulders Shampoo first to wash any flakes out of my hair and make sure my hair was clean.
Step 3. I always believe in washing my hair twice so I used the Head & Shoulders Shampoo + Conditioner next. This helps give my hair a thorough wash and also conditions.
Step 4. After I’ve rinsed all the shampoo + conditioner out, I then used the Co-Wash conditioner on my hair and left it in as I showered and then rinsed it all out.
As you can see I was feeling quite lovely after washing my hair with the Head & Shoulders Moisture Care products.
After drying my hair with a tee shirt, I worked on detangling my lovely locs and then blow dried my hair. Once my hair was dry I used a few pumps the Head & Shoulders Scalp Soother, there was a tingling feeling but it was good, and then the continued to work my fro. And then VOILA! Natural fabulousness 🙂
I made sure to wait at least a week before I wrote my post just to see how my scalp help up and how good my hair looked. I definitely have to say that I was very pleased with my Head & Shoulders Moisture Care results. We all have different kinds of hair so the key is to find a hair care routine that works best for you. Also, I recommend keeping a food journal so that you can see how certain things may effect your the way your hair and scalp react.
